T.S.B – Tuan Senang Besar..;our Mokhtar Clan…who shall always
be in our heart and memories forever…
My first Episode....
This is my first blog and I'm dedicating it to my beloved cousin, T.S.B. However, in this
particular episode, I would like to share my side of the stories about my batch
mate cousin, Kharis Idris or his Blogger name “Tuan Senang Besar” or perhaps as TSB. The reason why I would like to share the story particularly about
TSB is because once before I never liked to gett involved in social media, but
because of the tragic death that has taken away “TSB” to rahmatullah ....it has
changed my perception in life especially on the advance technology world of social networking and the impact of viral…
My cousin "Yes",
he was a blogger and untill his last moment in life, I have never read any of his
blogs till the day he died. It was such a painful memory till today where I
still could not accept the fact that he was no longer with us though it has been almost
2 years now. Arwah did not left much to his family in terms of dollars and
cents but he actually has left us with more than any money could buy.

And three, his legacy – His blog. A virtual platform where it has connected his stories through his blog with a lot of beautiful people through the social media network and now became his trustworthy friends.
I knew Arwah
loved to write. During his high school years he loved to write stories which I always
find it amusing and hilarious. Arwah was a funny guy indeed in his own
mischievous way; not forgetting honesty was his best policy in giving out his
directive opinion, yet a quiet person in character. I guess he found the way to
express his thoughts and feelings through his writing where he connects with
people and found beautiful friendship in his blog.
As time goes by
and all of us grew up, we still do meet up regularly through family events,
birthday parties and not forgetting “Mokhtar clans special event – “Halloween
party” where all of us would occasionally dressed up to scare our nieces and
nephews for the sake of being fun together as a family.
But TSB would
never missed any of the events though his fingers was always typing out on his
Blackberry or Iphone looking down to the screen , giggling to himself reading
either the Facebook comments, or writing up his blog. Yes, again his Blog.
I got really
annoyed and I always thought that he was being a "party pooper" and always pressed
him to socialise and to join the crowd. Being the TSB that we knew (quiet in
character) he kept his normal mode and continued with his precious gadgets.
For all the
things that I have mentioned about TSB, the thing that I amazed most is that
how social media really connects to people and how by writing Blogs can
actually find beautiful friendship for a life time. How my very own cousin who
I loved and respected even more had changed and touched so many of people’s
lives. This is real.
I have found several Blogs that wrote about
TSB sharing their stories, telling good stories about how they knew him and how
he has touched their lives in many ways. I have found a webpage where TSB’s
friends had organized a fund raising event dedicated specially for TSB and the
money was donated to TSB’s daughter’s education fund.
Many of the bloggers did not now know much
about TSB but they shared similar passion through blogging. His friends who
knew him through his Blog had organized events as an attribute for TSB where
they valued the true meaning of friendship.
For
one, I never knew that my cousin TSB had passion for running till the day he
died when I met some of his blog mates who attended the funeral and shared their
stories on how they met TSB and found these pictures from their blogs. I did
not now know he was that serious in running. I only thought that he ran a
couple of KM just to lose some fats!. There were TSB’s running marathon
friends, cyclist friends, hiking friends where they have shared their hobbies
and interest and found each other through blogging.
And all this while I thought TSB was the
quiet one, maybe shy and do not like to socialize. Damn I was wrong. The TSB
that I knew and the TSB most of my family knew had the most exciting life
meeting various people and he was actually living up to his passion. Kudos to
you Boy! TSB.
To TSB’s family, we shall take care of you
and stay close to each other..
This is a new beginning for me in the world
of Blogging and I truly believe I shall continue to explore the Blogging World
that TSB once done before …connecting to people..
We shall wait for the next chapter of
blogging world…Thanks to TSB.
Al-Fatihah…
These are several links who shares their stories about TSB on how "Blogging" connects them.
This are real stories....stories on how social media helps to connect people...where ever you are...
